CRGO E-Cores

At LaminaCore, we supply precision CRGO (Cold-Rolled Grain-Oriented) silicon steel E-Cores, designed for compact laminated assemblies where low core loss and coil accessibility are key. Our E-Cores are supplied in standard or custom sizes, supporting electrical steel grades from M4 to HiB with thicknesses from 0.27 mm to 0.20 mm.

E-Cores are ideal for switch-mode power supplies, transformers, chokes, and magnetic devices where efficiency, low weight, and space-saving design are critical.

What Are E-Cores and Where Are They Used?

E-Cores are laminated magnetic cores shaped like the letter “E.” Combined with an “I” or “center leg” section, they form a closed magnetic loop around a coil. Their open window simplifies coil mounting while supporting precise winding geometries and compact device designs.
