CRGO E-Cores
Engineered for Compact Magnetic Assemblies
Product Overview
CRGO E-Cores
At LaminaCore, we provide precision-engineered CRGO (Cold-Rolled Grain-Oriented) E-Cores, tailored for compact magnetic assemblies where low core loss, stable performance, and easy coil access are essential.
Our E-Cores are available in both standard and custom sizes, manufactured from electrical steel grades including M4, M0H, and HiB. Strip thickness options range from 0.30 mm to 0.20 mm to suit different efficiency and space requirements.
These cores are ideal for use in wound transformers, power inductors, chokes, and switch-mode power supplies—especially where thermal stability, electrical efficiency, and compact design are critical.

What Are E-Cores and Where Are They Used?
3-phase E-cores are laminated magnetic cores designed with three vertical legs and two outer yokes, forming a symmetrical structure for 3-phase transformer applications. This design supports balanced magnetic flux paths across all three phases, reducing losses and improving efficiency. They’re commonly used in 3-phase distribution transformers, reactors, and industrial power systems.
