LaminaCore’s Nanocrystalline Block Cores are built from Fe-based nanocrystalline ribbon (~18μm thick) and engineered for use in high-frequency magnetic circuits where low core losses, high permeability, and space-efficient shapes are essential. Compared to ferrite or silicon steel materials, these cores provide significantly better magnetic properties—ideal for EMI suppression, planar transformers, and custom power applications.

Manufactured in the UK with tight quality control and short lead times, our block cores can be machined to your specific geometry and are available in encapsulated, poly-coated, or bare formats.
